The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is upon us!  Here at BASCOL we make it a priority to help those in need.  We have had great success collecting Jell-O so far this year to help the Salvation Army fill the Christmas Bureau's food baskets.  Thank you to all who have made a donation.  There is still time to donate Jell-O if you would like to help out.  You can bring your donations to the BASCOL office on Wetzel Road. The deadline is Thursday, December 19th by noon.  We appreciate you support!

The BASCOL planning team has been very busy planning for the upcoming December Break Full Days!  The theme for the week of Dec. 23th is "Count Down to Christmas" and some of the activities that we will be doing include; Making an Accordion Snowman, a Wrapping Paper Tree, playing Christmas Tree Tag and a Holiday Obstacle Course.  "Let's Celebrate 2014" is the theme for the week of Dec. 30th and the activities will include making Party Hats & Noisemakers, playing Marshmallow Toss and Freeze Dance!

There is still time to sign up your child to attend some or all of these fun filled days at BASCOL! Please call the BASCOL office at 622-4815 to reserve a spot today!

BASCOL is very proud to congratulate our team "BOOscal" for taking First Place at the Titans of Trivia Contest that was held at The MOST on Friday, October 25th!  The contest is held each year by Child Care Solutions and the proceeds from the event are used to support their child care provider training programs.

As we approach the Holidays, BASCOL is on a mission to help the community!  We are collecting boxes of JELL-O at all of our site locations and administrative office, to help fill food baskets that the Salvation Army's Christmas Bureau will distribute to families in need this holiday season.  Please consider donating a box or several boxes of JELL-O.  

You can purchase 3 boxes of JELL-O for $0.89 at PriceRite on Erie Blvd.  You can also purchase an entire case of 24 boxes at ALDI for $16.80!!!

Please find it in your heart to help us make our goal of 8,000 boxes of JELL-O!  Thank you in advance for your support!  The deadline is Friday, December 13th, 2013.

**As a reminder, the BASCOL Administrative Office and Sites will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after November 28th and 29th.**

We had a great start to the school year in September!  We are looking forward to the many fun activities we have planned for October.  We are open on Columbus Day, Monday, October 14th in most districts and offering an optional field trip to Abbott's Farm that day.  If you haven't already signed up your child/ren to attend and you are interested please call BASCOL today!  Some of our districts also have October 15th off and we will be open at your full day location as well.

The best compliment you can give us is referring us to other families who are looking for before and/or after school child care.  We really appreciate all of the support you give us!
